SOI

Volunteering that actually counts

Turn up to a drive, scan the coordinator's code, and the NGO signs off your hours. Verified — not self-reported. Every certificate can be checked by anyone.

How it works

The difference between a certificate that means something and one that doesn't is who signed it. On SOI, that's always the NGO that ran the drive.

Find a drive

Browse what NGOs near you have coming up — environment, education, health, community.

Scan on the day

Show up and scan the coordinator's QR code. Your attendance is recorded on the spot.

Get it certified

The NGO confirms you were there. You get a certificate with a code anyone can verify.

Checking a certificate?

If someone has shown you a SOI certificate, you can confirm it is genuine in a few seconds — no account, no app. Every certificate carries a code like SOI-AB12-CD34 and a QR that opens the check directly.

Verify a certificate

Who it's for

One record, four sides of the same drive.

Volunteers

Collect hours that a college, NSS unit or employer can actually check — instead of a self-written line on a form.

NGOs

Publish drives, run check-in from a phone, certify everyone in one tap, and keep a clean record of who turned up for your funders.

Schools and colleges

Enrol students who have no account, no email and no phone. The teacher holds the record; students collect verified hours for NSS, IB CAS and similar programmes.

Companies

Give employee volunteering a record worth reporting, signed off by the NGO rather than self-declared.
