You can delete your SOI account and personal data at any time. The fastest way is from inside the app — it takes effect immediately, with no waiting period and no need to contact us.
Delete from the app
- Open the SOI app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Confirm. Your account and personal data are deleted straight away.
Request deletion by email
If you no longer have access to the app, email support@swagofindia.org from the address you registered with, asking us to delete your account. We will confirm within 30 days.
What gets deleted

| Your organisation memberships | Deleted permanently |
| Reports you submitted | Kept up to 24 months, with your identity removed |
One thing deletion does not undo. When an NGO certified your volunteering hours, that certification became part of their record of who attended their event — a record they may need for their own funders or auditors. Deleting your SOI account removes your account and your personal data from SOI, but it does not retract a certificate an NGO has already issued to you.
